Job Description

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

JLPT N3 or N2 certified. Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese with native speakers
Must have 3 to 10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projects
Knowledge and hands on experience in Software testing life cycle (STLC) in insurance (Life & P&C) or financial services domains.
Experience writing and executing detailed test cases/scripts and clear test documentation.
Understanding of Agile/sprint-based QA and distributed team collaboration.
Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs from Business & IT, Onsite and Offshore teams
Actively involve in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hours
Hands-on experience with automation and integration testing tools (Selenium, Playwright, SoapUI, Postman, etc.).
Familiarity with test data management and synthetic data generation (GenRocket).
Basic SQL/database testing (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with CI/CD environments.
