Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished
Bilingual Senior Project Manager Digital Transformation Leader (PMP, JLPT N1/N2) with 10+ years of IT experience and proven expertise in managing enterprise-scale digital initiatives in Japan.
The ideal candidate will lead large-scale platform modernization, enterprise system transformation, and cross-border delivery programs while serving as a strategic bridge between Japanese stakeholders and offshore engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Program & Project Leadership
- Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise digital transformation and AdTech platform initiatives.
- Own program planning, budgeting, forecasting, and execution governance.
- Drive Agile (Scrum), Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies based on engagement model.
- Manage risks, dependencies, escalation, and executive-level reporting.
- Oversee Go-Live strategy, production rollout, and hypercare stabilization.
- Enterprise Digital & Platform Transformation
- Lead modernization of legacy enterprise systems and marketing technology platforms.
- Drive enterprise application transformation and cloud-enabled architectures.
- Oversee data migration, system integration, and API-led ecosystems.
- Support B2B digital platform enhancement, performance optimization, and automation initiatives.
- Business & Solution Leadership
- Conduct requirement workshops with Japanese enterprise clients.
- Prepare and validate BRD, SRS, user stories, and solution documentation.
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Review architecture proposals and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Support RFP responses, solution presentations, and client demos.
- Stakeholder & Executive Engagement
- Engage with Japanese CXOs, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams.
- Deliver executive presentations and product walkthroughs in Japanese.
- Act as the primary liaison between onsite clients and offshore delivery teams.
- Manage multi-vendor ecosystems and customer expectations effectively.
- Delivery Governance & Quality Oversight
- Supervise cross-functional development and QA teams.
- Oversee testing cycles (Smoke, SIT, UAT, Automation).
- Monitor release management, production support, and SLA adherence.
- Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure delivery standards.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT and enterprise program management experience.
- Proven track record managing digital transformation initiatives in Japan.
- PMP Certification (preferred).
- JLPT N1 or N2 Professional Japanese communication proficiency.
- Strong experience in onsiteoffshore global delivery models.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
