Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Bilingual Japanese Interpreter & Translator to join our team and support communication between Japanese and local stakeholders. If you have strong Japanese language proficiency and experience in interpretation, we'd love to hear from you!
Mandatory Requirements
- Japanese language proficiency of JLPT N2 or above.
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Japanese interpretation and translation.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to actively participate in meetings, discussions, and conference calls with Japanese stakeholders.
- Capable of handling professional communication through emails and other business correspondence.
- Comfortable working in a Japanese business environment and collaborating closely with Japanese team members.
- Experience in interpretation is preferred over purely translation-focused experience.
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience in project coordination or stakeholder coordination roles.
- Exposure to IT projects, particularly involving business or functional requirements.
- Bilingual IT resources with understanding of functional specifications (Functional Specs/FRS).
- Ability to bridge communication between Japanese and local teams and facilitate smooth information exchange.
- SAP/ERP experience preferred
