Job Purpose
The Specialist Bidding & Tendering supports Sales and Project teams by managing end-to-end bid and tender processes. The role ensures timely, accurate, and compliant tender submissions through close coordination with internal teams and external partners. The objective is to deliver strong customer value propositions while supporting financial and operational performance.
A Glimpse of Your Daily Mission
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Global or Key Account Managers to understand tender requirements, scope, technical specifications, and customer expectations.
- Prepare comprehensive and compliant tender submissions, including commercial, technical, and design-related inputs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather pricing details, technical specifications, drawings, and lead-time commitments.
- Support preparation of basic design layouts, product configurations, floor plans, and space planning for tenders.
- Assist in developing renders, mood boards, mock-ups, and visual presentations to strengthen bid proposals.
- Work with factories, original equipment manufacturers, and third-party suppliers to obtain pricing, cost estimates, and delivery timelines.
- Support pricing validation and margin checks in coordination with Sales and Finance teams.
- Act as the central coordination point for tender-related clarifications, timelines, and deliverables across departments such as Purchasing, Finance, Visualization, Sustainability, and Special Products.
- Consolidate, verify, and submit tender documentation ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to deadlines.
- Create professional proposal decks, pitch presentations, and bid documentation using presentation and design tools.
- Maintain and archive all drawings, layouts, specifications, and tender-related documentation for future reference.
- Support electronic bidding processes and preparation of case studies and bid references for sales enablement.
Your Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in bidding, tendering, sales support, or project coordination roles.
- Exposure to commercial or design-led industries such as interiors, construction, furniture, or fit-out is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, configuration software, and Adobe applications.
- Strong documentation, presentation, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with flexibility to work extended hours during peak bidding cycles.
