Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bidding / Pre-Sales Executive to join our Business Development team. The ideal candidate will support end-to-end bidding and proposal processes, prepare technical and commercial documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help win new business opportunities. This role bridges technical understanding and business strategy to support pre-sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and respond to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from clients or government portals (e.g., GeM, E-Tendering).
  • Prepare and manage technical and commercial proposals in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Coordinate with sales, technical, finance, and legal teams to gather required input.
  • Support the sales team with documentation, product presentations, solution overviews, and client-specific collateral.
  • Track bid submissions, maintain a bid tracker, and follow up on proposal statuses.
  • Research and identify new tender opportunities aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with bid requirements, submission guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls to understand requirements and provide technical inputs.
  • Maintain a repository of templates, standard documents, case studies, and credentials.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 3-10 years of relevant experience in pre-sales, bidding, or proposal writing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with documentation tools is a plus.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, especially in creating proposals and responding to RFPs.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of pricing structures, solution selling, and client requirements.
  • Basic technical understanding of IT/software solutions (if applicable to the industry).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-tendering platforms like GeM, CPP, or state government portals.
  • Prior exposure to IT services or product-based companies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce or Zoho CRM is advantageous
