We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to design and deliver scalable, high-performance analytics solutions that translate complex operational and business data into actionable insights. You will partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams to drive data-driven decisions and continuously improve reporting quality, performance, and governance.
Our Team
You will join a centralized BI & analytics team supporting enterprise-scale reporting and advanced analytics across manufacturing and business operations. The team values collaboration, data governance, and delivering measurable business impact through reliable, well-governed reporting solutions.
What You Will Do
- Lead the design and delivery of Power BI reports and dashboards that enable strategic and operational decision-making across the business.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable data models and DAX measures that prioritize performance, usability, and maintainability.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into analytics solutions, ensuring clarity of KPIs, metrics, and data lineage.
- Integrate and transform data from SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs using Power Query (M) and ETL best practices.
- Implement and manage security (including Row Level Security), refresh strategies, and gateway configurations to ensure reliable production delivery.
- Optimize report and dataset performance for large volumes of data and high-concurrency usage.
- Document solutions, maintain governance standards, and provide production support and handover to operational teams.
- Mentor peers and collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and business teams to evolve analytics capabilities.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 58 years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
- Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling best practices.
- Solid SQL skills and proven experience working with relational databases (SQL Server/Azure SQL).
- Experience with Power BI Service, gateways, dataset refresh strategies, and deployment management.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize report performance and manage large datasets; strong analytical and communication skills.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Azure SQL) or cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Exposure to manufacturing or enterprise analytics use cases and associated domain data.
- Familiarity with Power Automate integration and automation of report-driven workflows.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks, BI standards, and change management processes.
- Prior experience in a centralized BI team, mentoring developers, or establishing reporting standards.
