Your Job

As a BI Developer (Power BI) at Koch, you will transform complex business data into clear, actionable insights that enable better decision-making and value creation. You will design, optimize, and maintain scalable BI solutions, partnering closely with business stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns with operational goals and enterprise data standards.

Our Team

You will be part of the KGSI Molex Reporting & Analysis team, which supports data-driven decision-making across manufacturing, supply chain, and operational functions. The team collaborates closely with business users, data engineers, and IT partners to deliver trusted analytics solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance Power BI solutions that drive insight and action.
  • Build and optimize semantic models, DAX calculations, and dashboards to support enterprise reporting needs.
  • Enable data-driven decisions by identifying meaningful KPIs and ensuring their consistent monitoring through intuitive dashboards.
  • Work with large-scale datasets and modern data platforms to deliver efficient ELT and analytics solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders to continuously improve reporting usability, performance, data security, and reliability.
  • Apply analytical thinking and technical expertise to improve data quality, performance tuning, and reporting governance.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • 3+ years of experience in BI development, with hands-on Power BI experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, DAX, data modelling, and performance optimization.
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
  • Experience developing secure, enterprise-ready dashboards including row-level security.

What Will Put You Ahead


  • Experience working with manufacturing and supply chain analytics use cases.
  • Hands-on exposure to Python scripting for advanced analytics or custom visual solutions.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, or data pipeline development.
  • Strong UI/UX sensibility for building intuitive and user-friendly dashboards.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning, innovation, and continuous improvement in analytics platforms.
