Job Description

About the Role

The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will help turn data into actionable insights that drive better decisions across the organization. In this role, you'll partner with stakeholders to answer key business questions, build scalable reporting solutions, and ensure the quality, consistency, and trustworthiness of our data. You'll play a critical role in shaping how data is used — moving beyond static reporting to delivering insights that influence outcomes. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle — from data quality and governance to analysis and storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business goals, KPIs, and key questions; translate findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Streamlit)
  • Profile datasets to identify and resolve data quality issues (duplicates, missing values, inconsistencies)
  • Maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and documentation across systems; support data lineage mapping and governance policies
  • Work with data engineers and analysts to refine data models and definitions; write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data

Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of experience in a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong experience with SQL and working with structured datasets
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Strong data storytelling, visualization, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across business and technical teams

Mandatory Skills

  • Technical Skills
  • Snowflake (data warehouse querying, data modelling)
  • SQL — advanced querying and data transformation
  • Tableau / Power BI / Looker — dashboard and report development
  • Data quality profiling and governance practices
  • Experience with data documentation and lineage mapping
  • Soft Skills
  • Good communication and articulation skills
  • Ability to work with global stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving acumen

Good to Have Skills

  • Exposure to DBT for data transformation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
  • Experience with Streamlit for data applications
  • Prior experience in a GCC, product company, or BFSI environment
  • Relevant BI or data certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Snowflake SnowPro Core)
