Job Description

We are looking for an experienced NonRetail Banking Recruiter to lead hiring for specialized, midtosenior banking roles across Corporate, Wholesale, Investment Banking, and support functions. This role requires strong domain understanding, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to source niche talent in highly competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. EndtoEnd Recruitment

  • Manage fullcycle hiring for Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, SME, Investment Banking, Treasury, Transaction Banking, Credit (Mid/Large), Risk, Audit, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance & Strategy, and other nonretail banking functions.
  • Draft role-specific JDs, develop sourcing strategies, and ensure timely closures.

2. Talent Sourcing & Market Mapping

  • Source candidates through headhunting, LinkedIn, job portals, network referrals, industry forums, and competitor mapping.
  • Conduct proactive talent pipelining for high-demand roles like Credit Underwriters, Treasury Dealers, Relationship Managers (Corporate), Risk Specialists, and IB Analysts.

3. Candidate Screening & Evaluation

  • Conduct preliminary assessments to evaluate technical and functional fit.
  • Assess candidates exposure to corporate lending products, credit appraisal, treasury operations, trade finance, regulatory norms, and other nonretail banking areas.
  • Coordinate technical interviews and competency-based assessments.

4. Stakeholder & Hiring Manager Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs, role complexity, and team structures.
  • Provide insights on market availability, talent trends, and competitor compensation benchmarks.
  • Drive structured interview processes and ensure a strong candidate experience.

5. Recruitment Operations & Compliance

  • Manage scheduling, feedback, offer negotiation, and postoffer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the ATS and ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal HR policies, KYC norms, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor metrics like TAT, source mix, and offer-to-join ratios.

6. Employer Branding in Niche Banking Talent Pools

  • Build strong brand visibility in financial forums, social platforms, and industry networks.
  • Represent the organization at hiring events, conferences, and campus engagements (for specialized roles).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree; MBA in HR preferred.
  • 38 years of experience in hiring for nonretail banking or financial services.
