About the role:
Seeking a Consultant - ECM Analytics with strong experience in US credit card customer lifecycle analytics and
hands-on skills in Python, SQL, Excel, and presentation tools. The role covers activation and early engagement
analytics, spend stimulation and usage analysis, next-best-action (NBA) modeling, and revenue growth initiatives
such as cross-sell, up-sell, and credit limit increase strategies. Responsibilities also include retention and loyalty
analytics, churn prediction, and support for risk and collections analytics. The candidate should be able to
translate advanced analytics into actionable insights across the end-to-end customer lifecycle.

1. Activation & Early Engagement Analytics Activation Modeling, First Use Analysis, Early Churn Prediction.
2. Spend Stimulation & Usage Analytics Wallet Share Estimation, Merchant Category Analysis, Next Best Action (NBA) Models.
3. Strategic Portfolio Growth & Revenue: Credit Line Management (CLI/CLD): Develop, test, and optimize proactive and reactive Credit Limit Increase (CLI) and Credit Limit Decrease (CLD) strategies to drive spend while controlling exposure.
4. Pricing & Promotional Strategies: Design targeted Balance Transfer (BT), Direct Deposit, and promotional APR campaigns (e.g., 0% for 12 months) using propensity and elasticity models.
5. Cross-sell & Upgrades: Identify top of wallet opportunities and build data-driven strategies to upgrade customers to premium products or cross-sell adjacent financial products (e.g., personal loans, retail banking).
6. Risk Mitigation & Authorizations: Behavioral Risk Management: Partner with the Credit Risk team to develop and refine behavioral scorecards, identifying early warning signals of default or bust-out fraud.
7. Authorization & Overlimit Strategies: Optimize point-of-sale authorization strategies and overlimit policies to balance customer friction with fraud/credit risk.
8. Retention & Loyalty: Churn Prevention: Build predictive models to identify attrition-risk segments and deploy proactive retention treatments (e.g., fee waivers, bonus rewards) based on Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
9. Spend Stimulation: Analyze Merchant Category Code (MCC) data to design targeted spend-stimulation campaigns for dormant or low-engagement accounts.
10. Risk, Controls & Collections Analytics Net-credit-loss analyses, early delinquency monitoring and quick action before more losses incurred.
11. Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure all ECM strategies strictly comply with US regulatory requirements, including the CARD Act, ECOA (Regulation B), FCRA, and UDAAP.Work closely with internal Legal, Compliance, and Fair Lending teams to ensure models and strategies do not introduce disparate impact.
