Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Benefits Manager at World Cover 24. The Benefits Manager will design, implement, and oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other employee perks for client organizations. This role involves managing day-to-day benefits administration, handling employee inquiries, coordinating with brokers and carriers, and ensuring accurate documentation and data integrity. The Benefits Manager will interpret and apply regulations such as FMLA and COBRA, monitor compliance, and recommend policy and process improvements. The role also includes analyzing benefits utilization and costs, preparing reports for clients, supporting benefits renewals, and partnering with internal consultants to align benefits strategies with each client's business goals.
Qualifications
- Strong benefits program expertise, including Benefits Administration and Benefits Management, with experience overseeing health, welfare, and retirement plans.
- Working knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and leave programs, including practical experience with the U.S. Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA compliance.
- Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret benefits data, model cost impacts, and present clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to support employees, clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders in a consultative, service-oriented manner.
- High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with HRIS, benefits administration platforms, and productivity tools (e.g., Excel, reporting tools, collaboration software).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS, PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) are a plus.
- Experience in insurance consulting, brokerage, or working with multi-industry clients is preferred.
