About The Opportunity
As a Benefits Manager Prin, you will serve as a subject matter expert within our Global Benefits team, leading the governance and delivery of benefits programs across APJ and AMEAE. This is a high-impact individual contributor role requiring strong expertise in regional benefits and leave practices, and the ability to translate strategy into disciplined, scalable execution.
The role focuses on ensuring strong benefits delivery through effective vendor management, compliance readiness, and the administration of leave programs and policies. You will leverage data and insights to identify trends, improve the employee experience, and drive process efficiency while navigating complex regulatory requirements and cultural nuances across multiple geographies.

Responsibilities
This role is responsible for overseeing regional delivery across APJ and AMEAE, ensuring strong governance practices and proactive risk management. Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary regional Subject Matter Expert (SME), leading day-to-day delivery, governance support, and continuous improvement of employee health, wellness, retirement, leave, enrollments, and other statutory/supplemental programs
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes across countries in scope; support compliance activities (including audits) and partner with key stakeholders to implement required policy/program updates
- Manage broker/insurer/third party administrator (TPA) relationships, including renewal coordination/negotiation, open enrollment support (where applicable), Service Level Agreements (SLA) oversight, issue resolution, and contract lifecycle activities
- Lead benchmarking and market analyses to assess competitiveness versus local/regional market data; recommend enhancements to strengthen employee value and experience
- Support leave program execution and ongoing policy maintenance (statutory and company); partner with HR Ops and Payroll to ensure accurate leave and payroll processing, and related deductions
- Drive standardization by building playbooks/Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and streamlining workflows; leverage practical automation/AI-enabled solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency
- Develop and maintain clear, employee-facing communications and self-service resources (FAQs, intranet/portals) to improve benefits literacy, increase self-service adoption, and reduce repetitive inquiries
- Act as an escalation point for complex benefits and leave cases that cannot be resolved through standard HR Ops processes
- Produce dashboards and insights on cost, utilization, vendor performance and employee inquiries to inform governance, prioritization, and decision-making
- Contribute to global benefits projects and initiatives as a senior regional contributor, sharing expertise and best practices across the broader Total Rewards team
- Undertake additional responsibilities and strategic initiatives as assigned by management to support organizational objectives
Skills And Experience We Value
- 812 years of experience in regional benefits delivery, supporting multi-country APJ and AMEAE programs
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CEBS, GRP, CCP, CBP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of benefits regulations, statutory requirements, and leave entitlements across key APJ and AMEAE markets
- Demonstrated expertise managing statutory and company leave programs, including complex scenarios (e.g., parental, disability, long-term illness)
- Proven experience managing vendors/brokers and supporting renewals, negotiations, and cross-country policy harmonization
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging benchmarking data and market insights (e.g., Mercer, WTW, Aon); familiarity with automation/AI tools is a plus
- Ability to operate effectively across diverse regulatory and cultural environments, balancing European compliance rigor with dynamic APJ market conditions
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex benefits concepts for employees and senior leaders
- Self-driven, detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to independently lead complex workstreams in a matrixed, geographically distributed environment
