Bench Sales Recruiter — Nexylum Global Technologies
Location: Bangalore, India (Onsite) Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: US Shift (EST/CST) — night shift, India time Experience: 2–3 years in US IT bench sales
About Nexylum
Nexylum Global Technologies is an IT staffing and recruitment firm operating across the USA, Canada, and India. Our bench sales desk markets available consultants into contract roles with US prime vendors and implementation partners. We're hiring a bench sales recruiter who already has the vendor relationships and the marketing instincts — someone who can put consultants on projects, fast.
Role Summary
You'll own the full marketing cycle for our bench consultants: preparing them for market, submitting to vendors, negotiating C2C rates, running interviews to close, and keeping the bench utilized. This is a sales role at its core — your number is placements and bench utilization, not submission volume.
What You'll Do
- Market bench consultants (H1B, OPT, CPT, GC-EAD, GC, USC) to prime vendors, implementation partners, and direct clients.
- Build and maintain a strong network of vendor/prime vendor contacts; grow it continuously.
- Prepare consultants for market: resume formatting, positioning, mock/interview prep, rate alignment.
- Run mass marketing — hotlists, targeted vendor outreach, job-board and portal responses.
- Match consultants to open requirements and submit clean, requirement-aligned profiles.
- Negotiate C2C rates and manage rate layers/margins across vendor chains.
- Coordinate interviews and drive them to offer and onboarding.
- Keep bench utilization high — minimize idle time between projects.
- Track submissions, interviews, and placements accurately in the ATS.
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years of US IT bench sales experience at a staffing/consulting firm.
- Deep C2C fluency — this is the primary engagement model for bench marketing; you should live in it.
- Strong US work authorization knowledge: H1B, OPT, CPT, H4-EAD, GC-EAD, Green Card, USC — including transfer, portability, and marketability implications of each.
- Understanding of the vendor ecosystem: prime vendors, implementation partners, tier-1/tier-2 layers, and how rates flow through them.
- Proven ability to market and place consultants across common tech stacks (Java, .NET, cloud, data, QA, etc.).
- Rate negotiation skills that protect margin without killing the deal.
- Comfortable working US shift hours and building rapport with US-based vendors.
- Clear, persuasive English — written and spoken. Bench sales is relationship selling.
Nice to Have
- An existing vendor/prime vendor network you can bring on day one — this materially shortens ramp-up.
- Experience with a specific ATS/VMS (e.g., Ceipal, JobDiva).
- Familiarity with hotlist tools and mass-mailing platforms.
- Track record you can quantify — consultants placed, average bench-to-project time, utilization rate.
Work Details
- Onsite at our Bangalore office — not remote or hybrid.
- US shift (aligned to EST/CST vendor hours).
- Full-time, permanent position.
