Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bench Fitter role based in Wadala, Mumbai,India. The Bench Fitter will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and finishing mechanical components using hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic machines, following technical drawings and specifications. Daily activities include marking out workpieces, cutting, filing, drilling, tapping, and aligning parts, as well as checking dimensions and tolerances to ensure accurate assembly. The role involves routine inspection of tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet production targets and quality standards. The Bench Fitter is expected to follow all safety procedures, report defects or issues promptly, and support continuous improvement in workshop practices.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong mechanical fitting skills, including experience with assembly, hand tools, and workshop practices.
- Candidates should possess competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measurements, and basic engineering specifications.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safety procedures, proper tool handling, and adherence to industrial health and safety standards.
- Candidates should possess good problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to identify and correct fitting or alignment issues.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors and colleagues on the production floor.
- Completion of ITI or vocational training in Fitter/Mechanical or a related trade is preferred; prior experience as a Bench Fitter or in a similar role is an advantage.
