Job Description – Bell Boy (Front Office Department)

Position: Bell Boy / Bell Attendant

Department: Front Office

Reports To: Bell Captain / Front Office Manager

Job Summary

The Bell Boy is responsible for assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, providing information about hotel facilities, and ensuring a warm and professional guest experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and departure in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Assist guests with carrying and transporting luggage to and from guest rooms.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and hotel facilities.
  • Deliver guest messages, parcels, newspapers, and other items as required.
  • Assist in arranging transportation, taxis, and guest requests.
  • Maintain the luggage storage area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office team to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Ensure guest belongings are handled safely and securely.
  • Maintain high standards of grooming, hygiene, and professional appearance.
  • Support other Front Office operations as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum High School education or equivalent.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
  • Physically fit to lift and carry luggage.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and customer-oriented approach.
