Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Beauty Therapist role based in Bengaluru. The Beauty Therapist will provide professional beauty and wellness services, including facials, skin care treatments, waxing, and other hair removal services, following Urban Company's quality and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include consulting with clients to understand their needs, recommending suitable treatments and products, and delivering services that ensure comfort, safety, and satisfaction. The role also involves managing appointments, maintaining clean and organized work areas, using equipment correctly (including laser devices where applicable), and updating client records as needed. The Beauty Therapist will represent Urban Company's values by offering attentive customer service, adhering to protocols, and participating in ongoing training to stay current with techniques and products.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in cosmetology, including knowledge of facial treatments, basic makeup, and beauty services.
• Proficiency in hair removal techniques such as waxing, threading, and related methods.
• Experience or training in laser hair removal, with a focus on safety, equipment handling, and client consultation.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and manage client expectations.
• Practical understanding of skin care, including skin analysis, product selection, and treatment planning.
• Relevant certification or diploma in cosmetology or beauty therapy from a recognized institute.
• Strong focus on hygiene, sanitation, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, manage multiple appointments, and perform services on-site in client-facing environments.
• Previous experience in salon, spa, or on-demand beauty services is an advantage.
