About Tandemloop

Tandemloop Technologies builds AI-powered software for the mechanical engineering and manufacturing industry. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies like L&T, Merck, and Stanley Black & Decker, and we're an NVIDIA Inception partner. We're scaling our AI product CADVISOR and need hungry, persistent people to help build our sales pipeline.

The Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) intern, you'll be the engine that feeds our sales pipeline. Your job is to find the right companies and people, reach out to them, and book qualified meetings for the sales team. You won't be closing deals — you'll be opening doors.

This is a high-volume, high-activity role. You'll be researching companies, writing emails, making calls, and managing outreach campaigns daily. If you're the kind of person who gets energized by hitting targets and tracking your numbers, this is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify potential clients (engineering and manufacturing companies) using Apollo.io, LinkedIn, and industry databases
  • Build targeted prospect lists matching our ideal customer profile
  • Write and send personalized cold emails and LinkedIn messages
  • Execute multi-step outreach sequences using Apollo.io
  • Make follow-up calls to warm leads
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria
  • Book meetings for the sales team and ensure prospects show up
  • Log all activity in HubSpot CRM — every call, every email, every outcome
  • Hit weekly targets: 50 new contacts added, 20 LinkedIn connections, 15 calls, 3 qualified meetings booked

What We're Looking For

Must-have

  • Excellent spoken and written English — this is non-negotiable
  • High energy and persistence — B2B outreach means hearing no a lot before you hear yes
  • Comfort with cold outreach — calling and emailing strangers is the job
  • Basic proficiency with email, LinkedIn, and spreadsheets
  • Disciplined and organized — you'll be managing 50+ active prospects at any time

Strong Plus

  • Prior internship or project experience in sales, marketing, or business development
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
  • Interest in AI, SaaS, or engineering/manufacturing
  • MBA student or recent graduate (we've recruited from GLIM and similar institutions)
