Job Duties:
- Applies new technologies and identifies practical use cases that address business problems relevant to audit engagements, supporting the team in exploring and implementing these solutions.
- Manages multiple related projects within the BDOADVANTAGE portfolio, coordinating schedules, resources, and risks, and driving process improvements at the operational level.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with Assurance stakeholders, practice professionals, IT, and development teams, collaborating on initiatives that contribute to the BDOADVANTAGE portfolio.
- Encourages team members to share ideas and opinions, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provides leadership in defining business problems, prioritizing requirements, and assisting in the design and development of solutions, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Works with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Demonstrates a broad understanding of business situations, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making processes.

- Maintains high standards of quality by following the BDOADVANTAGE deployment framework, documenting processes, and identifying areas for improvement within the team.
- Identifies and helps mitigate risks associated with audit innovation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
- Communicates difficult messages with diplomacy and tact, maintaining professionalism with clients (internal and external) and staff.
- Persuades others on technical and non-technical matters, presenting recommendations confidently to senior leadership and clients.
- Demonstrates strong technical skills relevant to their area of responsibility, supporting the team in resolving complex challenges.
- Supports change management efforts to integrate new technologies and methodologies into existing audit processes, facilitating team adoption.
- Monitors engagement team feedback and works with the team to incorporate iterative improvements into technology solutions, ensuring ease of use and value.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Engineering required
Experience:
- Nine (9) or more years of accounting, finance or information technology experience, required.
- Prior supervisory experience, required.
- Prior project management experience, required.
- Data analytics, automation, product management, change management or other related experience, preferred.
- Demonstrated initiative in learning, adopting, and/or applying innovative approaches and technology, preferred.
Software:
Technical
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, required
- Proficiency with data transformation tools such as Alteryx, SQL Server Management Studio (and/or related cloud-based tools), required
- Proficiency in Power BI skills, including DAX, data modeling, and report visualization design, required
- Understanding of emerging technologies and their application in audit processes, required
- Working knowledge of accounting and audit methods, required
- Experience with data visualization and/or automation tools, preferred.
