Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with strong exposure to the US accounting market. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities from the United States and managing client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery through our Ahmedabad-based operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new accounting clients from the US for our service offerings.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and procurement teams in the US.
- Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation qualification proposal creation negotiation closure.
- Conduct US market research to understand customer needs, competitor landscapes, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches to US clients.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM data, forecasts, and weekly activity reports.
- Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams in Ahmedabad to ensure smooth onboarding and successful service delivery.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Required Skills & Experience
- 56 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition with a focus on the US accounts market.
- Proven track record of closing deals and managing US-based accounting clients.
- Strong understanding of US business culture, communication style, and time zones.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for US client interactions.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience in IT/ITES, outsourcing, or offshore delivery models is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with US startups, SMEs, or enterprise-level clients.
- Ability to travel to the US when required.
- Strong analytical, proposal-building, and solution-selling skills.
