Primary Title: Business Development Manager - Solar
A leading player in the Renewable Energy sector focused on solar PV solutions across residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale segments. We deliver end-to-end solar EPC, distributed generation, and O&M services across India and are expanding on-ground sales and project origination teams.

Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect, qualify, and close high-value solar projects across C&I, rooftop, and small utility-scale segmentsdrive pipeline from lead to signed contract.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets and growth KPIs.
- Prepare commercial proposals, PPA/asset financing models, and technical-sales presentations in coordination with engineering and finance teams.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with customers, channel partners, EPC contractors, financiers, and government/municipal bodies to accelerate project approvals and execution.
- Lead bid responses, negotiate commercial terms and contracts, and secure project-level finance or leasing arrangements.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly pipeline reports, and collaborate with operations to ensure smooth project handoffs and timely commissioning.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have: Proven track record in solar EPC or distributed solar business development with successful deal closures in C&I or rooftop segments.
- Must-Have: Strong commercial skillsproposal development, PPA/lease structuring, and project financing familiarity.
- Must-Have: Hands-on experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Must-Have: Excellent negotiation skills with experience in RFP/RFQ responses and contract finalization.
- Preferred: Existing network with channel partners, EPC contractors, and project financiers across Indian states.
- Preferred: Understanding of government incentives, net-metering regulations, and relevant state-level solar policies.
