Designation Business Development Manager (BDM)

Location: Kochi

Travel %: 75%

Job Summary

Business Development Manager Software Products and SaaS

To Drive revenue growth, expanding market presence, and developing strategic partnerships for the organization's software products and SaaS solutions. The role involves building strong relationships with channel partners and enterprise customers, defining go-to-market strategies, and owning the end-to-end sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.

Responsibilities

  • Act as bridge between the channel sales partner and the organization, enabling seamless communication.
  • Work along with senior management in Emsyne and channel sales partners to act as a sales enabler, executing the sales strategy of the organisation.
  • Define and execute scalable sales strategies for SaaS and enterprise software markets.
  • Leverage CRM and analytics for pipeline management, forecasting, and performance optimization.
  • Spearhead GTM execution, product positioning, and demand generation to capture market share.
  • Identify potential markets and suitable software/services for GTM strategy.

Educational qualification (Minimum education qualification required)

  • Graduation: B.E./B.Tech (Mandatory)
  • Post-Graduation: MBA/PGDM (Preferred)

Experience Range (Required experience range in years)

57 years of relevant experience in SaaS/software sales or business development roles.

Required work experience (Details of work experience/exposure expected to have)

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in B2B and enterprise sales across multiple geographies.
  • Exposure to channel sales and partner-led growth models.
  • Experience handling end-to-end SaaS or software solution sales cycles.
  • Experience in software products/technology domain preferred.

Must have technical skills

  1. Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
  2. Pipeline management and forecasting
  3. Enterprise SaaS sales methodologies
  4. GTM strategy execution

Good to have technical skills

  1. CRM platforms (Salesforce/HubSpot/Zoho or similar)
  2. Sales automation tools and analytics platforms
  3. Experience in scaling sales processes/teams
  4. Knowledge of financial services or enterprise software markets
  5. Contract management exposure
