We're now looking for an experienced Business Development Lead / Manager to spearhead our
corporate sales efforts — someone who can think strategically, build strong client relationships, and
drive revenue growth through consultative engagement with senior business and HR leaders.
About The Role
This is a senior, hands-on role responsible for driving Skills Cafés corporate sales strategy. You'll
identify new business opportunities, lead key client conversations, and close strategic deals while
mentoring a small sales team. You'll work closely with the leadership and solutions teams to craft
proposals that solve real organizational challenges through learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end B2B sales cycle — from lead generation and opportunity qualification to
proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Engage with CXOs, CHROs, and L&D leaders to identify needs and position Skills Cafés
learning solutions effectively.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and data-driven insights.
- Lead proposal development and collaborate with the solutions team to craft impactful client
presentations.
- Develop and nurture long-term client partnerships, driving retention and account growth.
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives to ensure consistent funnel development.
- Track and report sales metrics, ensuring alignment with quarterly and annual revenue goals.
- Represent Skills Café at client meetings, industry events, and thought-leadership forums.
Required Skills

Additional Information
4+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or corporate partnerships.
- Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in the L&D, EdTech, or training industry.
- Strong consultative selling, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation abilities.
- Experience using CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for pipeline management.
- Strategic mindset, self-driven attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
