A growing player in the fragrance manufacturing and personal care ingredients sector, serving B2B customers across perfumery, cosmetics, and FMCG. We supply fragrance solutions, raw materials and formulation support to brands, contract manufacturers and distributors across India.
Role: Inside Sales Executive (On-site, India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales activities for assigned accounts and leads—qualify opportunities, nurture prospects, and convert to orders.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive outreach (cold calling), follow-ups, and relationship building with B2B buyers and distributors.
- Maintain and update CRM records (leads, activities, pipeline stages) and produce accurate sales reports to forecast revenue.
- Process orders end-to-end: prepare quotes, follow up on approvals, coordinate with operations for timely delivery and invoice closure.
- Develop product and market knowledge in fragrances and formulation offerings—support technical queries and coordinate with R&D/technical teams for demos/samples.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply-chain teams to execute campaigns, manage promotions and resolve customer escalations quickly.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience in inside sales for B2B customers, preferably within FMCG, personal care, or fragrance industries.
- Hands-on CRM experience with regular pipeline management and reporting.
- Strong track record of meeting sales targets and handling end-to-end order workflows.
- Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling, lead qualification and follow-up cadence.
- Good commercial acumen with ability to prepare quotes, negotiate terms and close orders.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English; comfortable engaging with procurement and technical stakeholders.
Preferred
- Domain experience in fragrances, aroma chemicals or cosmetic ingredients.
- Experience with ERP/order management systems (e.g., SAP SD) or using integrated CRM-ERP workflows.
- Exposure to key-account coordination, distributor management or channel sales.
