About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Online Bidder / BDE who has a strong technical understanding and proven experience in generating business through online portals. The ideal candidate should be able to understand project requirements, communicate effectively with clients, and prepare high-quality bids/proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and bid on relevant projects from platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PPH, and other marketplaces.
- Understand client requirements (technical + functional) and prepare customised, professional proposals.
- Coordinate with the technical team to estimate project timelines, scope, and deliverables.
- Handle client communication, requirement gathering, and follow-ups.
- Convert leads into long-term clients and maintain relationships.
- Prepare project documentation, SOW, and cost breakdown when needed.
- Meet monthly bidding and lead conversion targets.
- Maintain CRM and track all leads/proposals.
Requirements
Technical Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Web Development, Mobile Apps, CRM Systems, APIs, SaaS, AI/ML basics, or related technologies.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into meaningful proposals.
- Good knowledge of project estimation, SDLC, and basic architecture.
- Comfortable explaining technical solutions to clients in simple language.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Online Bidder / BDE.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and requirement-gathering skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results.
- Experience in handling international clients is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to create wireframes or basic workflow diagrams (optional).
- Experience with tools like Jira, Trello, Slack, HubSpot, CRM tools, etc.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and AI tools is a bonus.
