Business Development Executive (EdTech)
About The Opportunity
A fast-growing EdTech organization is scaling its sales engine to accelerate adoption across educational institutions and corporate accounts. You will own outbound acquisition, institutional engagement, and deal closure for classroom and enterprise learning productsworking hands-on with marketing, product, and delivery to convert pilot programs into long-term contracts.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new institutional opportunities through targeted outbound outreach, events, and channel partnerships.
- Run high-volume outreach using phone, email, and LinkedIn to secure discovery calls and product demos with decision-makers.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and pilot handoffs, tailoring value propositions to academic and corporate buyers.
- Manage and advance an active sales pipeline in CRM; prepare commercial proposals and follow through to close deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer success to design pilot success criteria and convert pilots into paid engagements.
- Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets and report sales activity and forecasts to leadership.
