A high-growth business services organisation in the B2B SaaS and cloud communications sector seeking to expand commercial footprint across India. The role sits in a fast-paced sales environment focused on selling cloud contact centre, UCaaS and enterprise communications solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers.
Position: Business Development Executive (primary, best-performing title identified for marketplace visibility). This is an on-site role based in India, focused on lead generation, pipeline development and closing new business opportunities through direct client engagement and coordinated sales execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new B2B leads using targeted outreach (cold calls, email campaigns, and in-person meetings) to build a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Manage and update opportunity lifecycle in CRM, track pipeline metrics, and provide timely sales forecasts to leadership.
- Run product demos and commercial presentations for prospective clients; tailor value propositions to client pain points in cloud communications.
- Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals while ensuring profitable pricing and contract compliance.
- Coordinate handoffs with implementation/delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and maintain client satisfaction.
- Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets; continuously refine outreach strategies based on win/loss analysis.
