Role & Responsibilities
- Hit monthly and quarterly sales targets by prospecting, qualifying, and closing institutional deals (schools, colleges, coaching centres, corporates).
- Generate and nurture leads using cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, campus visits, and partner networks to build a robust pipeline.
- Deliver onsite and virtual product demonstrations and consultative needs assessments for decision-makers (Principals, HODs, Superintendents).
- Negotiate commercial terms, prepare proposals, and close contracts; ensure smooth handover to onboarding and implementation teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activities, and forecasts in CRM; produce weekly territory reports and revenue projections.
- Collaborate with marketing and customer success to execute campaigns, run pilots, and identify upsell/expansion opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- 2+ years of direct field sales or B2B sales experience; preferably in EdTech or SaaS targeting educational institutions.
- Proven track record closing institutional deals and achieving sales targets in a quota-driven environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and disciplined pipeline management (Zoho CRM experience preferred).
- Comfortable with frequent travel across assigned territories and delivering persuasive onsite demos.
Preferred
- Experience selling into K-12, higher education, or coaching/test-prep verticals.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement cycles, RFP processes, and stake-holder decision maps.
