Job Description

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly driven and execution-focused Business Development Associate to drive growth for our Solar O&M Services and Module Cleaning BOT (Robotic Cleaning) business across utility-scale solar projects in India.

The role involves identifying opportunities, building relationships with IPPs/EPCs/Asset Owners, managing the sales funnel, and closing large-scale O&M and robotic cleaning contracts.

The ideal candidate should understand the renewable energy ecosystem, have strong industry connections, and be comfortable driving commercial discussions independently.

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development & Sales

  • Generate and close Solar O&M opportunities across utility-scale solar projects
  • Drive sales for Module Cleaning BOT / robotic cleaning solutions
  • Build relationships with IPPs, Asset Owners, Developers, EPCs, and Renewable Energy companies
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline and business funnel
  • Lead commercial discussions, proposal submissions, and contract negotiations
  • Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for solutioning and proposal preparation
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing clients

Market & Client Management

  • Understand market trends, competitor landscape, and customer pain points
  • Identify upcoming solar projects and operational portfolios suitable for O&M and BOT deployment
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Maintain long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders

Strategic Growth

  • Support company-level revenue growth initiatives
  • Work closely with leadership on sales strategy and expansion planning
  • Maintain clear MIS and reporting on pipeline, conversion, and business opportunities

Preferred Candidate Profile :

  • 3–8 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within Solar, Renewable Energy, O&M, EPC, or related sectors
  • Strong understanding of utility-scale solar operations
  • Existing network with IPPs, EPCs, or asset owners preferred
  • Experience in handling B2B sales and commercial negotiations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and site visits
