What You'll Do

We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to join a Finance Operations Analyst position in BCG X to support our fast-growing global business model.

In this role you will work as part of the BCG X Finance team, supporting BCG X Finance leadership in managing accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring governance across financial processes.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Manage accounting of revenue and costs and ensure governance in financial processes
  • Own, manage and maintain project, vendor and product database in financial systems
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Perform timesheet corrections and transfers (X Delivery) and conduct weekly analysis of vendor timesheets and asset fees, including booking of revenue across multiple offices
  • Own and respond as first line of control for BCG X Finance Operations mailbox, support review of vendor contracts and asset fee contracts, and ensure accurate revenue and cost booking
  • Support on week close and month close related accounting activities
  • Support accounting team on transition of financial operations of BCG X from Oracle to SAP
  • Ensure that revenue and costs are recorded in line with applicable accounting standards and booked in a timely and accurate manner
  • Capture any revenue or cost leakages and bring consistency and predictability in financial operations
  • Partner with business to simplify processes and workstreams while maintaining transparency in accounting


What You'll Bring

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent / MBA (Finance)
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting including US GAAP
  • Basic finance and accounting knowledge with proficiency in financial systems (e.g. Business Objects, SAP)
  • Experience in professional services environment is a plus

  • Adaptable to change management and open to multi-tasking in a complex working environment
