Role Description The Battery Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. This role involves assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining batteries and related components according to technical specifications and safety standards. The Battery Technician will perform routine inspections, identify faults, and carry out repairs or replacements to ensure optimal battery performance. Daily responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, documenting test results, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The role also requires close collaboration with engineers and production teams, adherence to safety guidelines, and support in continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess practical skills in battery assembly, installation, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
Candidates should possess skills in reading technical drawings, following standard operating procedures, and using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Candidates should possess skills in safety awareness, including handling electrical components, following PPE requirements, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Candidates should possess skills in documentation and record-keeping, including logging test data, maintenance activities, and inspection reports.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Relevant experience in battery manufacturing, electrical maintenance, or similar technical roles is beneficial.
A technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, or related fields is preferred, along with basic computer literacy.
Willingness to work on-site in Faridabad, follow shift schedules if required, and participate in training on new technologies and processes.
