10+ 2 and AME Diploma (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer)

BAMEL in Electricals

Work Experience -Relevant/ Total Years

Min. 1-2 years of exp. In Battery Shop as a Technician and minimum 1 year as certifying person

IT Skills

MS Office, excel, power point, Worked on Aviation Software like AMOS

Behavioural Competencies

Collaborative approach, Good Interpersonal skills, Team Management.

Job Requirements And Responsibilities

Workshop Chief Inspector/ Sr. Inspector/ Inspector (Battery Shop)

  • The Battery Shop Inspector must ensure that his/ her Authorisation is current and valid on the type of aircraft Batteries to be certified by him/ her.
  • Reporting to Workshop Manager
  • To ensure that the latest approved procedure sheets /repair scheme/ CMM are being used in the work shop at all times.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
  • To ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance of Batteries are calibrated and in serviceable condition, and are not mishandled during use.
  • Will be responsible for keeping up to date all documents related to the Batteries maintenance, release and associated Logs.
  • To ensure compliance to safety rules and regularly provide recommendation to improve maintenance practices and avoid injury to personnel.
  • To ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in an efficient, safe and to the highest possible standards.
  • Identifying the future need in terms of equipment and resources to meet the future extension of the shop approval and third party maintenance plans.
  • Ensuring that control of human resources in terms of discipline and training is of high standard to achieve maximum standard of quality and productivity at all times.
  • To ensure that all procedure sheets, maintenance record pertaining to the work are complete in all respect before issuing the Certificate of Release to Service.
  • To recommend new procedures or changes to existing procedures in order to improve department and system performance.
  • Liaison with Logistics, Quality and Technical Services for any support for the maintenance activity.
  • To impart necessary training for workshop technicians, the usage procedures in regard of tools and equipment, etc.
  • To follow up with the spares requrement with the Logistics.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by the Workshop Manager.
