BASIS SOX consultant

We are seeking a seasoned BASIS SOX Consultant with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP BASIS administration and a thorough understanding of SOX compliance requirements. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, implementing controls, and ensuring compliance within our SAP systems. Responsibilities

• Conduct SOX compliance assessments and audits for SAP systems.
• Analyze and document business processes and internal controls in relation to SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement necessary controls and remediation plans.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for SOX compliance within BASIS administration.
• Develop and maintain SOX documentation including process flows, risk assessments, and control matrices.
• Assist in training and awareness programs for stakeholders regarding SOX compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on the status of SOX compliance initiatives and audits.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration with a focus on SOX compliance.
• In-depth understanding of SOX regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP security concepts, roles, and authorizations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or SAP Certified Technology Associate are preferred.
