Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Bash Developer to join our team and contribute to automation, scripting, and system-level workflow optimization. If you are passionate about Linux environments, shell scripting, and building efficient automation pipelines, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Bash scripts for automation and operational workflows.
- Automate repetitive system administration and deployment tasks.
- Work closely with engineering and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and debug shell scripts and Linux-based environments.
- Write clean, modular, and scalable scripts following best practices.
- Monitor script performance and improve reliability and execution speed.
- Handle file processing, log management, cron jobs, and server-side task automation.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Bash/Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with automation workflows, cron jobs, and process management.
- Familiarity with scripting utilities such as awk, sed, grep, and regular expressions.
- Understanding of file systems, permissions, and server environments.
- Ability to debug and optimize scripts for performance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Basic knowledge of Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Experience working in cloud or server environments is an added advantage.
