Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bartender, based at The Leela Palace, Chennai. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests, ensuring high-quality customer service. Daily tasks include mixing and serving drinks, maintaining bar inventory, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to health and safety regulations. The role also involves engaging with guests to create a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere and managing bar transactions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mixology, cocktail preparation, and serving beverages
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact well with diverse customers
• Organizational and multitasking skills to manage bar operations effectively, including inventory management and cleanliness
• Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards related to food and drink handling
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Previous experience in a bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Certification in bartending or food and beverage services is an added advantage
