THE ROLE

At Papa's, we believe that a great dining experience isn't just about foodit's about the entire experience, from the first sip to the last bite. As a Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, crafting high-quality beverages, and creating an unforgettable atmosphere for our guests. You'll lead the bar operations during service, ensuring that every drink served reflects Papa's standards of creativity, precision, and hospitality.

This role is based at Papa's in Bandra West and reports directly to the Bar Manager. You'll be an integral part of maintaining the high standards of service that make Papa's a standout destination for guests seeking an elevated and adventurous experience in Indian cuisine and drinks.

WHO YOU ARE
You are passionate about beverages, mixology, and guest experience. You have strong technical knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and bar operations, along with the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality drinks. You're approachable, confident, and have a natural flair for engaging with guests, ensuring they enjoy every moment at the bar.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, stay calm under pressure, and maintain a clean and organized bar at all times. You take pride in your craft, are eager to learn new techniques, and enjoy mentoring or guiding junior team members when needed.

YOUR TEAM

As a Bartender, you'll be a core member of the Papa's bar team, collaborating closely with the Bar Manager, Assistant Bartender(s), servers, and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Papa's is a dynamic, high-energy environment where teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail are key to success.

WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO

You will report directly to the Bar Manager, working under their guidance to ensure efficient, seamless bar operations and an exceptional guest experience.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Bar Operations: Prepare and manage the bar area before, during, and after service, ensuring all ingredients, tools, and garnishes are ready and well-stocked.
Mixology & Service: Create and serve high-quality cocktails and beverages consistently according to Papa's standards and recipes. Provide engaging and attentive service to guests, making personalized recommendations when needed.
Cleanliness & Compliance: Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and organization of the bar at all times, adhering to all health and safety standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage requisitions, and coordinate with management for timely replenishment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth coordination during busy hours and contribute to a positive, efficient workflow.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on new trends in mixology, spirits, and ingredients, and contribute ideas for the seasonal cocktail menu.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 13 years of experience as a Bartender in a restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting

• Strong understanding of spirits, cocktails, and bar equipment

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset

• Ability to perform under pressure during high-volume service

• Positive attitude, collaborative approach, and a passion for hospitality

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per restaurant operations
