Cash Handling:
Handle cash and process payments accurately.
Provide change and receipts as needed.
Keep track of tabs and settle them in a timely manner.
Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep the bar area clean and organized.
Wash glassware and utensils.
Dispose of waste and empty ashtrays as needed.
Checking Identification:
Verify the age of customers to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
Refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals.
Knowledge of Products:
Stay informed about the available drink options and specials.
Provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
Teamwork:
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in restocking and maintaining inventory.
Adhering to Regulations:
Follow all relevant health and safety regulations.
Comply with local and state laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Qualifications:
Previous bartending experience is often preferred.
