Qualifications and Skills
- Experience operating espresso machines to produce high-quality coffee beverages (Mandatory skill).
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with and satisfy our clientele (Mandatory skill).
- Inventory management skills to maintain and stock supplies and ingredients (Mandatory skill).
- Ability to create latte art to enhance the aesthetic appeal of coffee drinks.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for processing transactions efficiently.
- Knowledge of sourcing high-quality coffee beans from various suppliers.
- Understanding of food safety regulations to ensure a hygienic cafe environment.
- Creativity in menu design to develop and introduce new beverage options regularly.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages that meet quality standards.
- Operate and maintain cleanliness of coffee machines and equipment.
- Engage with customers to answer questions, take orders, and provide recommendations.
- Manage inventory levels and restock supplies as needed for daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the cafe.
- Maintain a clean and presentable workspace at all times.
- Assist in developing new menu items and seasonal offerings.
- Train new staff members on barista skills and customer service standards.
