Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Barista role based at The Amore Surat in Surat. The Barista will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and tea, while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste. Daily responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, suggesting menu items, and ensuring timely, accurate service. The Barista will also support basic food preparation related to beverages, maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar and service areas, and ensure equipment is properly cleaned and operated. The role involves working closely with the service and kitchen teams to deliver a smooth and welcoming guest experience during events and regular service hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 year Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee equipment handling, and basic knowledge of coffee and tea varieties.
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage with guests in a courteous, attentive, and professional manner.
- Effective Communication skills for taking orders accurately, coordinating with team members, and responding to guest requests.
- Food Preparation skills related to beverage accompaniments and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours, and handle busy service times calmly.
- Basic understanding of cleanliness, sanitation practices, and food safety guidelines.
