Role Description The Barista (Lateral) is a full-time, on-site role based at The Amore Surat, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, in line with the venue's quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating coffee equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the service area, managing stock of ingredients and supplies, and ensuring consistent presentation of drinks. The Barista will interact directly with guests, take orders, answer questions about the menu, and provide courteous, efficient customer service throughout events and regular service hours. This role also supports overall food preparation and service coordination, working closely with the kitchen and banquet teams to deliver a seamless guest experience. Adherence to hygiene, safety, and service protocols is essential.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with guests and team members.
• Candidates should possess Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee equipment handling, and basic food preparation.
• Candidates should possess clear Communication skills for taking orders, explaining menu items, and coordinating with the team.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
• Previous experience as a barista, in hospitality, or in banquet operations is preferred; basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible hours (including weekends and evenings), and follow standardized recipes and service procedures.
