Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- To take full responsibility for the bar opening procedure and
- pay attention to the cleanliness and alignment of equipment,
- freshness and correct preparation of all ingredients, and
- stock levels of all bottles.
- Ensure smooth running of all bar operations.
- Ensure weekly/daily checklists are completed by bar staff.
- Ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures
- as outlined in the standards of procedures manual.
- Ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner.
- Ensure all bars are prepared for set up in advance of each
- shift and in accordance with relevant standards of procedure.
- Ensure that all staff arrive to work on time and in correct
- uniform and name badge as per weekly rota.
- Develop, train and coach bar staff to the standards required
- of the establishment in accordance with the standards of
- procedures manual.
- Induction, monitoring and ongoing training of casual bar staff.
- Manage daily inventory, wastage, promo drinks and spoilage.
- Record and report incidents as appropriate.
- Should have detailed knowledge about Beer Pouring Manual.
- SOP for Beer line cleaning.
- SOP for receiving fresh kegs and calculating empty keg
- variance.
- Ensure that bar requisitions are made as per the par stock.
