Role Description The Banquet Server is a full-time, on-site role based at Aldovia Resort & Convention in Bengaluru. This team member is responsible for setting up banquet halls and event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and service stations according to event specifications. The role involves serving food and beverages during events, ensuring courses are delivered efficiently and guest requests are handled promptly and courteously. The Banquet Server will maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event, assist with buffet stations, and support the breakdown and reset of spaces once events are completed. Collaboration with the banquet, culinary, and event coordination teams is essential to uphold Aldovia's standards of service and guest experience.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Food Service and Food & Beverage skills, including safe handling, plating, and service techniques.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess solid Interpersonal Skills to work effectively within diverse teams and respond calmly in high-paced environments.
- Previous experience in banquets, hospitality, or restaurant service is preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, guest-focused attitude are essential.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety, and hospitality standards; formal training or certification in hospitality is an advantage.
