Job Description

The Messe Global Convention Center is a modern, state-of-the-art venue offering a 30,000 sq. ft. fully air-conditioned, pillarless indoor space with a seating capacity of 5,500 and a floating capacity of 10,000 guests. Perfect for large-scale events such as conferences, trade shows, concerts, and social gatherings, it features advanced ceiling lighting, a cutting-edge audio-visual system, and high-speed internet services. Adhering to international safety standards, the center also offers on-site exhibition services.

Role Description

We are hiring a full-time Banquet Sales Executive for an on-site role based in Pune. The primary responsibilities include developing and managing leads, negotiating event contracts, and maintaining client relationships to achieve sales targets. The role requires close collaboration with event organizers, clients, and internal teams to deliver a seamless banquet sales experience. The Executive will also contribute to executing banquet sales strategies and generating new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:-

  • Sending Banquet event proposals to the guests and being in timely contact with them. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
  • Maintaining the entire sales correspondence database. Maintain all client information and folders.
  • Coordinate with Banquet operations on a timely basis to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Promptly respond to all inquiries & follow-ups on regular basis.
  • Preparing function FPS and coordinating with F&B for smooth operation Overall responsibility of sales generation for high end exclusive banquet & events.
  • Be a one point of contact & a consultant to guest from the first call till the day of the event
  • Contracting bookings and raising invoices
  • Responding to and coordinating all internal meeting requests
  • Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales manager.
  • Ensure monthly sales & forecast report to send to the management.
  • Maintain retention of regular customer & ensure procure new & repeat business for the hotel by maintaining regular contact with the customers.

Requirements and Skill:-

  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in hospitality or in the related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in banquet management, or similar.
  • Exceptional ability to sale banquets/venue, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English, Marathi.

Designation & Remuneration:Will be allotted based on the candidate's experience and previous designation.
