Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Banquet Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

  • Lead and manage the banquet team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Coordinate with Sales & Events, Culinary, and other departments to plan and execute flawless events
  • Conduct daily team briefings to communicate event details and guest requirements
  • Ensure proper setup and execution of events according to Banquet Event Orders and client specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage service, hygiene, and safety
  • Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies for smooth operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize banquet operations and control costs
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings
  • Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in banquet service
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or Food & Beverage Management preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar banquet management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in English; ability to speak other languages is a plus
  • Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with local cuisine and cultural preferences in Mumbai
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and best practices
  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems efficiently
  • Experience with event planning and execution
