Job Description – Bankruptcy Process (US Mortgage)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle bankruptcy-related activities in US Residential Mortgage servicing
- Review bankruptcy documents including petitions, notices, discharge, dismissal, and proof of claim
- Monitor Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases
- Must have an hands on experience in 410A form and Proof of Claim (POC).
- Update loan servicing systems with bankruptcy information
- Coordinate with attorneys, trustees, and internal teams
- Review payment plans and ensure compliance with bankruptcy timelines
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Perform quality checks and ensure SLA adherence
- Follow investor and client-specific guidelines
