Role Description The Banking & Soft Skills Trainer will deliver classroom training to learners on core banking concepts, customer service principles, and workplace readiness, ensuring participants are prepared for entry-level roles in leading banks. This full-time, on-site role is based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and involves planning daily sessions, creating training materials, and using interactive methods such as role plays, case studies, and group activities. The Trainer will assess learner progress through quizzes, assignments, and presentations, provide constructive feedback, and maintain training records and reports. The role includes mentoring learners on interview preparation, professional etiquette, and communication, as well as collaborating with academic and placement teams to align training outcomes with industry requirements.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Training & Development skills, including curriculum delivery, facilitation, and learner assessment.
  • Candidates should possess excellent Presentation Skills to explain banking concepts clearly and engage diverse groups of learners.
  • Candidates should possess robust Communication and Soft Skills for effective interaction, coaching, and classroom management.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to teach and model Life Skills such as professionalism, time management, and teamwork.
  • Graduate degree in any discipline; specialization in commerce, management, or finance is an advantage.
  • Prior experience as a trainer in banking, finance, or corporate training, or experience working in retail banking or customer-facing roles, is preferred.
  • Comfort with using digital tools, MS Office, and learning management platforms for content delivery and reporting.
  • Strong learner-centric mindset, patience, and the ability to work in a structured, outcome-focused training environment.
