About the Role

We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Banking and Finance Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting foundation-level training sessions, preparing candidates for entry-level roles in retail banking and financial services, and helping students develop job-ready practical skills. This is an ideal position for fresh finance graduates or junior professionals passionate about teaching, public speaking, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery: Conduct interactive training sessions on basic banking, accounting principles, financial tools, and customer service standards.
  • Curriculum & Practical Learning: Teach core topics including retail banking, loan processing, KYC/AML guidelines, digital banking, and basic accounting (Tally/Excel).
  • Assessments & Mentoring: Conduct regular quizzes, mock interviews, dynamic case studies, and practical activities to evaluate student progress.
  • Career Readiness: Support candidates with soft skills training, communication etiquette, and interview preparation.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor attendance, track batch performance metrics, and provide constructive feedback to learners.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA), or related fields.
  • Core Knowledge: Strong conceptual understanding of Banking operations, Financial markets, and basic Accounting principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English (and relevant regional languages).
  • Teaching Aptitude: Passion for mentoring, explaining complex concepts clearly, and managing classroom/virtual dynamics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with accounting software like Tally is a strong bonus.
  • Tally knowledge is an added advantages.
