About The Opportunity
We are hiring for a clinical role within the Healthcare Multi-speciality Hospital sector serving patients in Yamunanagar, Haryana. This is an on-site Resident Medical Officer (RMO) position for candidates with a BAMS background who can provide day-to-day clinical care across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings.
The ideal candidate will deliver safe, evidence-based Ayurvedic and general medical care, perform basic emergency interventions, and coordinate with specialty teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide front-line clinical assessment and management for OPD and inpatient cases, including history-taking, examination, and initial treatment plans.
- Deliver emergency stabilization and basic life support for acute presentations; escalate to senior clinicians as required.
- Perform common bedside procedures: IV cannulation, wound care and suturing, medication administration, and basic monitoring.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, progress notes, discharge summaries, and shift handovers.
- Coordinate referrals and liaise with specialty teams (medicine, surgery, paediatrics, obstetrics) to support continuity of care.
- Adhere to hospital infection control, patient safety protocols, and standard operating procedures during all clinical activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- BAMS degree from a recognized institution and active registration with the relevant State Ayurvedic Council.
- Proven experience working in a hospital setting as an RMO or clinical physician (hospital or multi-speciality exposure preferred).
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); familiarity with emergency protocols and triage principles.
- Practical competence in IV cannulation, wound care, basic suturing, and bedside procedures.
- Ability to interpret ECGs and monitor vital signs; recognise and escalate critical findings promptly.
- Strong clinical documentation skills and experience with hospital medical records and handover processes.
Preferred
- Experience working in multi-speciality hospitals or emergency departments.
- Advanced life support training (ACLS) or additional emergency medicine exposure.
- Familiarity with integrated care pathways combining Ayurvedic and allopathic approaches.
