About The Opportunity
Healthcare Clinical Services & Critical Care: we operate in the primary and secondary care sector providing inpatient, emergency and ICU services for acute and urgent patients in a peri-urban Pune setting.
We are recruiting clinical front-line physicians to support 24x7 critical care and emergency coverage at a well-equipped facility in Talegaon (Pune), Maharashtra.
Medico Hub is seeking 2 Resident Medical Officers (RMO) with ICU exposure for rotational on-site shifts (Morning / Evening / Night).
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide on-site clinical care for admitted and emergency patients in ICU and wards during assigned rotational shifts (morning, evening, night).
- Manage critically ill patients: initiate and titrate mechanical ventilation, vasopressors/inotropes, and sepsis bundles per protocols.
- Perform emergency procedures including airway management, central venous access, arterial line care, and bedside ultrasound-guided interventions when indicated.
- Stabilise and coordinate timely referrals or escalation to senior specialists; participate in multidisciplinary rounds and handovers.
- Document clinical notes, treatment plans, and shift handovers accurately and maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection-control protocols.
- Participate in emergency response (code blue) and contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and training of junior staff.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- BAMS or BHMS with Postgraduate diploma in Emergency Medical Services (PGDEMS) or equivalent emergency/critical care training.
- Prior experience working in ICU or critical care settings with hands-on mechanical ventilation exposure.
- Valid registration with relevant State Medical Council / National Medical Commission (NMC) and current medical fitness clearance.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) (or willingness to obtain promptly).
- Proven competence in emergency airway management, central venous catheter placement, and bedside resuscitation.
- Ability to work rotational on-site shifts (morning, evening, night) and participate in emergency rosters.
Preferred
- Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) training or certification.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar emergency/trauma course.
- Prior experience in hospital shift-roster systems and electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
Compensation, Location & Logistics
- Position: 2 Resident Medical Officers (RMO) ICU experienced
- Location: Talegaon, Pune, Maharashtra On-site role only
- Salary: INR 45,000 to 50,000 per month (gross) depending on experience and certifications
- Shift pattern: Rotational duties covering Morning, Evening and Night shifts
