As Baker, you'll lead our team of 3 commis and oversee the day-to-day execution of pastries, breads (including sourdough and croissants), Petit Gateaux/Tarts, Viennoiserie and bakes, tea cakes, and cookies. The role is hands-on, with a focus on consistency, quality, and maintaining high culinary standards.

Basic baking technical skills and experience are necessary. Your primary responsibility is to carry out and enforce this established menu and ensure that each dish reflects Overflow's standards. While there is room for creative input over time, the key focus is on accurate execution and reliable kitchen leadership.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

1.⁠ ⁠Ability to train and handle the pastry and bakery team.

2.⁠ ⁠⁠Oversee ordering of ingredients and maintain par stock and manage inventory.

3.⁠ ⁠⁠Ability to execute high-level breads and viennoiserie products.

4.⁠ ⁠⁠Planning and execution of daily and weekly production schedules; ensuring timely delivery of product.

5.⁠ ⁠⁠Managing costs and optimizing profits.

6.⁠ ⁠Team Management: Motivating, scheduling, and resolving conflicts within the team.

7.⁠ ⁠Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and ensuring positive customer experiences.

8.⁠ ⁠Collaboration: Working with other culinary staff to align on menus and events.
