Backup Systems Administration Senior Associate

Key Requirements: • Â

 Requires 5-6 Years of relevant experience. • Â

 Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup systems including Commvault, Veeam, IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM), NetBackup, Networker and DataDomain • Â

 Manage daily backup operations, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.Â

 Perform regular restore testing and support recovery operations. • Â

 Maintain and optimize backup policies, schedules, and storage targets across platforms. • Â

 Administer and maintain Backend Storage and Data Domain infrastructure for backup storage and performance. • Â

 Ensure high availability and data protection across virtual and physical environments. • Â

 Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure backup coverage and capacity planning. • Â

 Document configurations, procedures, and recovery processes. • Â

 Ensure compliance with data retention policies, audit requirements, and security standards. • Â

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations • Â

 Detail oriented, customer oriented, result delivery oriented, analytic thinking • Â

 Performs incident management and change management execution. • Â

 Creates and manages capacity and trending reports of system operations. • Â

 Good understanding on ITIL practices • Â

 Experience on industry leading IT Asset Management tools such as Service Now or Similar ticketing tools • Â

 Works on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions. • Â

 Works with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data backup requirements and creates solutions to meet requirements.Â
